An extraordinary private excursion in Florence that, in a day, will allow you to visit the most beautiful places of the city.
The first stop of the tour is planned at Piazzale Michelangelo, located on a hill on the south of the ancient city, the best observation point on Florence. From this great balcony you will admire the Arno River and the beauty of the city.
Our daily tour in Florence will continue along the streets of the historic centre – UNESCO World Heritage Centre since 1982 – where you will admire the most important monuments of the city: the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral with the majestic of Brunelleschi’s dome, Giotto’s Campanile considered one the most beautiful Italian bell towers, and San Giovanni’s octagonal Baptistery.
With a little walk into the heart of the city you will reach the two most important museums: the Uffizi Gallery and the Galleria dell’Accademia.
Late in the morning you can have lunch in a typical Florentine trattoria, in the historic centre of Florence, so to taste typical food and wines (optional reservation service, if requested) or have lunch in one of the various restaurants, at your choice.
In the afternoon you will have other additional free time to continue your visit or to do some shopping! You could walk along the streets of the historic centre and reach Piazza della Signoria and the Ponte Vecchio, buy some souvenirs in one of the artisan shops or just eat a good ice-cream walking through the city and along the “Lungarni”.
